Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an Administration Assistant to join a Durham Local Authority on a temporary basis. This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week, over two days.
Overview: The Administration Assistant will provide back office support to the Neighbourhood Protection team, assisting with services including Neighbourhood Wardens, Allotments and Pest Control.
Main Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the Neighbourhood Protection team
- Assist with data entry and record keeping for Neighbourhood Wardens, Allotments and Pest Control services
- Respond to internal and external enquiries as required
- Support the team with general office tasks to ensure smooth operations
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
